SQL plus Full-Text Search

The Thunderstone Parametric Search Appliance enables full-text key word searches combined with a user-selected "filter" on up to 50 data fields.

Search types include standard SQL comparisons (=, <, >, IN), as well as allowing the full power of Metamorph full-text search, and geographic region searching.

Sorting and Grouping

Optimize "findability" by specifying how the Appliance should sort and/or group the query results. This is all done efficiently using Thunderstone's Texis technology.

Data Integration

The DataLoad API allows data to be populated from any source, and a variety of Connectors already exist for many common data sources. In addition the DB Walker can directly access existing databases, while the advanced extraction tools allow data to be extracted from web pages or files that already exist.

Full-text content can be provided in most formats, including PDF, office documents and many other file formats.
