Result URL Source

Syntax: select box of Url and Parametric Text fields

Result URL Source allows you to choose a Parametric Text field as the source of the <Url> used for the document in search results. By default, it uses Url, which is the URL that is used for walking.

If a parametric field is chosen for Result URL Source, the original Url will be included in the search result XML as UrlWalk. It will also be possible to look up content in List/Edit URLs by the selected Result URL Source.

This can be useful in situations where the URL the Parametric Search Appliance needs to request to index the content is different from the URL that you want to present to users at search time, such as with DBWalker.
