Overview

The Thunderstone Parametric Search Appliance is a web walking and indexing device that allows a web site administrator to provide a high quality retrieval interface to collections of HTML and other documents. It is an application of Texis and is written in Texis's Web Script language named Vortex.

It consists primarily of the Texis binary program and two Vortex scripts that are run by the Texis CGI program on the Parametric Search Appliance and are accessed from a web browser.

One script provides the administrative interface, another provides the site walker and indexer, and the third provides the search function that end users see.
